The skincare she
never bought.
Growing up, skincare was never purchased in our home. It was prepared: turmeric, saffron, sandalwood. Made with patience and intention that modern beauty has completely forgotten. I spent my career in pharmaceutical formulation wondering why no one had taken those ingredients seriously. My daughter is training to be a doctor and was asking the same question. So between a grandmother's kitchen, a laboratory, and a medical school, we stopped wondering. We built Aiva Ritual.
